 Dipstick Reading I know maybe stupid question, but just changed the oil on my PD. Happens everytime, but after adding 2 qts, starting motor up, let it settle, oil level is just at the add line. Last time i added too much oil after seeing this. Should i disregard the fill line and just follow the 2 qt rule?

Re: Dipstick Reading I put 2 qts of oil and then some stp or lucas in it. 2 qts don't fill it up.

Re: Dipstick Reading What 2qt rule?? That dipstick is there for a reason, fill it till it says it's got enough in it
