kohler mods

Duckhunter62682 MMT Member Joined: Wed Oct 08, 2014 8:57 pm Posts: 4	kohler mods I have a kohler 27 gdsd that I have been running I have exhaust on it now , I have finnaly found a place that has a lot of aftermarket parts for one and in the prosses of a build now. any others out there with 27 kohler motors

Julian didn't offer a cam grind suitable for mudmotors when I dealt with him, but he may now. You could check with this guy for a cam also. http://www.zkbrmachine.com/start-shopping.php Back in 07 my 27PD on a Beavertail 1748 was keeping pace with the stock 35 Briggs guys running similar loads.

Hp was 32, but the torque was amazing, peaking at 52 ft lbs. This is all at 4700' elevation, losing almost 20% hp from sea level. If anyone is interested let me know.
