It's going to be bad, worst storm to hit Northeast Florida and Georgia coast since 1898.

I'm wondering about those folks as well. Governor Scott has said everything but get the fuck out now!

A few circumstances have me roughing it out here in port saint lucie. All boarded up have plenty of food water and fuel. Hoping for the best here.

A friend of mine is in Savannah, his wife is a nurse so she can't leave and he's obviously not leaving her there. He will likely be riding it out alone at home with their dogs.

NHC report just came out, it's moving off the coast a cunt hair and there's a double eye. Not out the woods yet but lookin like we won't get the 145 mph winds.

it is a big storm but the media is starting to go nuts with this crap I was just out driving around fishing a couple land spots for mr snook . the storm is still far off the coast if it dose turn in yea it will be bad but if ur smart u got nothing too worry about. yeah lake Okeechobee is at the max and with this storm who knows what can happen I don't think the hoover dyke has been tried like this so we will see I borded up my house at defcon 2 but going too 3 as of later tonight good luck too everyone and be safe

Latest report is Matthew has drifted westward again. No telling where/if this thing will actually make landfall but it's going to be close enough to cause some damage I believe.

And then it's supposed to do a loopy loop and come right back.

that's when it will mix with the other hurricane Nicole and come back and sink florida

There's already been mass casualties from this storm. 289 people have died so far.

Now granted that's in Haiti and Caribbeans but it's still lost lifes.

Yea the hurricane stayed just enough east to where we have only gotten tropical storm force winds with rain. Now the ones around the Daytona area, not so sure they are going to be that lucky

We've managed to luck out, haven't lost power at all. Hopefully it stays offshore enough everyone will be that lucky.

Nothing but a little wind and rain in Okeechobee. I am the Director of School Board Operations, School Board Emergency Manager, District Shelter Coordinator, among other things. Of course I have to manage shelters throughout this thing while my family is snug as a bug at the house. At 4am people were getting the hell out of the shelters. Our shelters are 100% cleared out and deactivated now.
