 Crosby Lawn and Power Ethanol got me. The GoDevil gas tank apparently sat too long, despite Startron. I tried 3 times to spray carb cleaner through it and finally gave up. The Sierra fuel water separator was rusted. I replaced it with a Yamaha spin on and replaced the B&S filter. No help. Died when I dropped the prop in the water. Northshore Marine recommended Crosby Lawn & Power. They cleaned the carb in a mild acid bath and replaced the plugs for $123. I took it to Ft. Anahuac this morning and it ran good. (A few birds working at the mouth of the river).
The mechanic at Crosby Lawn & Power is a B&S speed freak, so you kids might talk to him if you're interested in that. They're north of Newport on FM2100, west side.

Re: Crosby Lawn and Power I've known Robert most my life. He has been building race kart engines for over 20 years now. He's always been a nice guy at the kart tracks.
I just realized a few months ago that he was part of EVT, and I reached out to him for some history on it. And maybe for some spare parts he might have lying around.
