Post Help!!! Mudbuddy question
Long story short I had to take my HD apart and put back together. Now my motor runs fun full throttle out of water but when it's in water under load won't go, it's like the clutch or belt is slipping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

neither one of them are probably slipping.
Going by your sig, you've got an EFI. you may have messed up something with the computer.

does it sound like anything is slipping?
Is your motor bogging down in the water?
Is your belt tension right?
Lots of different things to check

I don't have a tension gause and I'm wondering if that is what it is. Belt is pretty dang tight though. Also, I can't hear and slipping. When it happens also, the prop is still spinning slowly put engine rpm is high

Hmm, you don't want the belt to be too tight, or it will stretch and pop. Tension guage would be best.

is the clutch tighted down and not able to slip?
Someone else here will chime in soon and help you out probably a little better than I can

I am pretty sure all keys are back in. Just to be sure what all should be keyed? Also, I have good power and ground.

It will push when engaging the gear but when I get in the throttle it won't go anywhere. Prop still spinning when it does this, just not very fast

Does the engine itself rev like it should and just the boat just doesn't move? (Meaning some sort of disconnect between the engine and prop?)

I would open up the cover of the outdrive, engage the clutch while the engine is OFF and try to turn the prop by hand.
If the prop turns and it doesn't turn over the engine, then you have something slipping/key missing

Also there is about 1/8-1/4 in gap between the front and back pieces of the clutch. I can't remember if that's normal or not.
