anybody know of any good bowfishing spots in south LA? i have a bowfishing kit and hate having it just sit in a closet. since my boat doesnt have any lights it would have to be a daytime spot.

if your only goin during the day, good luck down here. the only way you will be able to see fish is in some clear water. if you find some, youll be good to go. just rig you up a rail system with some heavy duty pvc and put some halogens on there and youll be set. you dont need a huge light setup, just about 4 lights will do

it doesnt have to be by boat do you know of anywhere where the water might be shallow enough to see fish? i dont really care what type of fish it is i just want to put my kit to use somehow

good luck trying to see anything in the water down here anytime soon. the wind has you screwed. you really wont find any spots that you will be walking to shoot fish. get with a buddy drive your boat in some shallow ponds in the day (if you don't have the funds to make a light deck) and shoot some reds and gars. in the day when the water is clear you will be able to see the fish good enough to shoot at.
