Post Head Cracked
The exhaust port on one of my heads cracked about a half inch above the exhaust flange. Is there any way to repair this or am I stuck getting a new head? The heads were worked by prodrive for the E2 EFI kit? Would I have to get the new head worked by them to match the other?

Thanks. Any advice appreciated.

Picture?

Likely need a new head, but you may be lucky.
I would suggest getting them to do it so there's no imbalance in flow, compression, etc. Not a requirement, though, and you'd probably not notice much difference having another competent machinist try to get it close, but they'd probably need the other head to measure and match.

I had one break off. I bolted an exhaust flange to it, and had it welded up. Many of them broke from lack of support or too much vibration. I'm pretty positive it can be repaired if there is room for a welder to get in there.
