Post Round Toggle Switch?
Want to do an off-season mod on my hydraulic trim. Got a line on a reversing solenoid, want to trigger it with a toggle switch. I'm thinking about a round one, plug it into the hole in the end of my tiller tube (squeeze throttle mod) but not having a lot of luck finding a sealed switch.
Anyone have one they can recommend?

Something like ? Not sealed, but you get 5 for $6, so you have a few spares.

Yeah, I've been looking at something like that, although it would have to be a momentary on-off-on and not latching on the one side.

Thought I might get a paddle switch instead of a rocker. Still concerned about not picking a waterproof switch. Mud and salt are gonna get driven into the switch if I put it in the tiller tube like I'm thinking.

Haven't found the perfect answer yet, still looking.

I put one of these mounted to floor for foot use.
It is even cheaper at Bass Pro Shop.

Couple options.

You could also just find a switch that fits, and put a small balloon over it. Just keep extra balloons and appropriate zip ties to hold in place.

Russ - I had seen those, but again the didn't fit the "pipe dream" of fitting inside my tiller tube.

CC - interesting... hadn't thought of a foot control but it kind of makes sense. Not sure it's the right answer for me, but I like the idea.

Isn't PD putting a trim switch in their tiller with the new models? Wonder what they're using? Ahh, did an image search. Looks like they have a two way rocker built into a larger tube housing.

***brain gears turning*** 8-)
