 Cleaning Carb on PD36?
did a search here and on Google and couldnt find what I was looking for.
Does any one have best practices for cleaning a carb and jets? Would love to see a step by step if anyone has it.
Thanks,

 Re: Cleaning Carb on PD36?
Remove carb, remove bowl, set gasket aside, remove each jet from the bowl and keep side specific. Spray carb cleaner in each jet orifice in bowl, spray carb cleaner in emulsion tubes, and idle circuit passages in carb, spray carb cleaner in fuel entrance and let run out through needle and seat. Blow compressed air through the same places you sprayed carb cleaner. Clean each jet with a small wire or tip cleaner and clean with carb cleaner and blow out. Install back in bowl, install bowl and gasket onto carb, then install carb onto engine. Run engine.

If you gonna tear it all down, might as well soak that bitch for a day or two! Probably has that green funk growing all in it.

A little Berryman B-12 in the tank helps keep it clean once you get it to that stage also. Under $4 at Walmart.
