 Re: Screen Names ...
In the series of books named "Stories of the Old Duck Hunters" by Gordon Macquarrie, one of the main characters had a nickname of "Hizzoner". He was a funny old coot that loved duck hunting and it's old ways and he just happened to earn his living in the car business.
My favorite character in the greatest duck hunting stories ever written

 Re: Screen Names ...
I feel the same way Brooks....
I got a birth name of Brian, Back in 1994 I went to work at was then Porter Cable (Power tools) I along with this other guy were the new hires of the week.. Bout 3-4 days into my new job, A few of the old hands gotta calling me Earl. On the way back from break one afternoon I stopped and asked about the meaning of Earl and wondered why he found the need to call me that... He said I just looked like someone that should be named Earl, It caught on like wildfire and now 16 years later everyone knows me as and calls me Earl... O the other guy that hired in that day, His name is Anthony by birth and will answer to Charlie still to this day.. Everybody had nicknames.....And 33 Is my Fire Dept number...

@ deucechuker... I created a private (at first) website for fishing in Galveston, TX and have grown up fishing West Bay... Have access to a place on Galveston on the "West End" so seemed fitting to go by WestEndAngler... thus the website I created was dubbed "West End Anglers"

A mud gun is a functional workhorse that gets the job done in all environments without frill or excess cost. My 870 was known as the mud gun.

My wife's pet name for me is A$$hole. I didn't think that would fly as a handle on MMT. So I went with the slag term balloon-knot.

Im not the most graceful person, but I feel like the pintail drake with a big old bull sprig is the most graceful looking duck.
Most people call me AO, but that sounds a lot more boring.
