Do any of you all watch the tv show river monsters? After I watched the tv show with the wife she says she won't go swimming in lakes or rivers anymore.

I saw the one where he was trying to land a giant gator gar on the trinity river around livingston. They produced a real nice one at the end.

I've seen a couple of the shows. Mekong catfish, Trinity gator gar, and some big ass stingray (might have been in the Mekong also). I don't think I'd worry too much about swimming in our rivers though. Never heard of an attack from a gar, catfish are too small, gators eh maybe if they're cornered.... Now pollution, on the other hand, may be a reason to stay out of the rivers over here, but I wouldn't worry too much about the river monsters.

Ok, i am watching river mosters ondemand, the dude is showing a fish in the amazon, that will swim up your wanker. Talk about pain.

That show is crazy. The dude will jump in to catch the fish for fukks sake.

i like the show. it dont make me scared to jump in the water to go swimmin but it does make me want to carry a bigger gun
