'07 35 GDSD with about 400 hours. Broke the u-joint assembly in the lower at about 360 hours, but no complaints overall. |

Re: What kind of hours does everyone have on their MM?? 1997 Go devil 20 H.P. long tail with 750+ hours on the first tech, and around 500+ hours on this tech...no telling what was on it before I bought it. And yes things have broke and I have had to fix just about everything at least once.

1-bad reverse cylinder 1-bad power trim switch 1-broke muffler which is common with all motors. |

Piece of debris on the carb's float valve at < 3 hours. Loose cavitation plate screws (even with lok-tite) about every 9-10 hours. Air Filter cover and knob backed out and lost around 21 hours. (had to replace) |

Re: What kind of hours does everyone have on their MM?? I used to run mud buddy but I got tired of all the electric problems switches, relays, Tilt and trim getting hung up.. water in my lower unit. It seemed like everytime i took it out I was working on it. it was a 35 hd sport with about 150 hrs.i switched to GD and I love it. it's so much more simple

Re: What kind of hours does everyone have on their MM?? just under 800 hrs on my 2007(bought it used) but replaced all bearings and seals when i had the motor modded at a little over 670 hours and no complaints what so ever. replaced all the seals in the drive when i modded the motor also and keep it greased and have had no problems.

Just took it to Go Devil this week for new prop, shaft, seals, and bushings. Aside from that, I exploded the U-joint in the lower unit at about 300 hours due to lack of greasing inside the covers. No other problems, and its running like a beast now! |

Re: What kind of hours does everyone have on their MM?? Had an 09 35 GDSD with around 230 hours and the only thing I had to fix was the belt I snapped running stumps (it was my fault). Other than that routine maintenance (oil change, grease).
Have a 2012 MB with 50 hours (bought brand new Aug 27) and have had to do the following: Take valve overs off and adjust lash Replace pushrod that slipped out due to incorrect valve lash Replace oil sensor wire and wrap with heat shrink tubing Replace entire lower drive assembly due to cracked skeg (cracked all the way through until you can see daylight) waiting on the next thing to add to the list LOL |
