 Mikuni Rev limiter
Pretty sure my rev limiter is dead. Engine runs fine without it, but won't get any spark with it on there. Stock 35 go devil. My question is, can/should I run without it, or do I need to get a replacement? Also, any cheaper place than BPS to get one?

 Re: Mikuni Rev limiter
Just seen a guy selling a limiter on here today. Check the classifieds, not sure if it is what you need but it may be worth checking out.

 Re: Mikuni Rev limiter
He wants 50 for it. Good price, since he hasn't used it

Have checked all the wires. I had one come loose and engine wouldn't start

 Re: Mikuni Rev limiter
Either way, it's very cheap insurance.
You don't need to worry about it over-revving during normal use. The danger comes when you hit a stump and the prop comes out of the water, or when your fat lab leans against the throttle when you are warming it up at the launch.etc, etc.
