Linex inside of boat is this OK??

 Linex inside of boat is this OK??I have 2 young boys that hunt with me and the inside of my boat is extremely slick of course when wet and muddy. Do you boys see any reason why it would hurt my boat to linex the inside of it??? Please all advice is welcome!!!!!

I wouldn't put truck bedliner in any boat I own cause its a pain in the ass to get out If you ever wanted something different. get a few sheets of hydroturf or some no slip adhesive strips to hold you over if hydroturf is out of the budget right now. you can also use the anti fatigue foam mats too

Re: Linex inside of boat is this OK?? I bowfished out of a boat that had it in the inside. Owner of the boat said the guy that sprayed it in was pretty particular on prep work. The boat had to be clean aluminum or they wouldn't warranty it. You may want to check with the sprayer beforehand.
I wouldn't do the DIY bedliner either, I've seen plenty of those look like shit after a couple outings. I'd also rather fall on EVA foam then linex. |

Re: Linex inside of boat is this OK?? I sprayed my old boat with it and after 1 season it was peeled off pretty bad. I also went to the lengths to use acid on the aluminum to clean it. In my opinion it's not worth the time money or trouble.

Re: Linex inside of boat is this OK?? I had it and it was OK... it flaked a little, but not much. I think it added a lot of weight. In the right circumstances, I'd do it again on a boat, but probably not on a mudboat.
I did see an older Lund riveted fishing boat that a guy "fixed up". It turned out sweet and the inside was completely sprayed with liner. _________________ 1854 Brother Breaux and Boss 40XP and 90hp outboard. |
