Post Mb trim
My trim keeps cutting out. Like it will work then stop then start working again. It seems like a bad electrical connection but can't find anything. Is there like a circuit breaker or something on it?

Make sure everything is real tight at the battery and not corroded.

Like Owen said, check everything out & make sure ya gettin a good contact. There is a self resetting circuit breaker on it also. There are 2 of them mounted on the back of the starter. They're covered with a yellow plastic cap on each one. One's for the trim, the other for the clutch. If ya order em from MB, ya lookin @ about $20 each, but ya can get em from any auto parts store for about $5 (just make sure to get a 15 amp, not a 40 amp).

Ya it's still under warranty. The battery terminals are tight and not corroded. It never stops working completely just cuts in and out.

Mine did that this past winter. It's the upper breaker (with the yellow cap, as was posted earlier) that controls the trim. It's an auto-resetting breaker so when they start to go, they'll do exactly what you're talking about. Napa sells the part for about $8, might be able to find it cheaper at autozone but the one near me didn't have the 15 amp. If this doesn't fix the prob, shoot me a pm
