Post Oil Leak
What's your opinion on this one? I have a oil leak coming from my block, but it's a very small one. Not sure if I have a pin hole in the gasket or something like that but I noticed it about 2trips ago and I keep monitoring the oil level to make sure I'm ok. I haven't even noticed a change on the dipstick yet. Is it something I should be worried about even though I'm not leaking alot of oil?

That's a case gasket leak & they almost ALL for the most part do this... I think its like arond ~ $100 to replace if that sometimes dealers will warranty just have to call & ask.

Only worry if you have to keep tightening the bolts in the cover. Have seen a few motors weld the cams to the cover because of loss of clearance between the two.

Just brought my boat to calens engine service in Franklin for the same problem. He explained to me why they leak right there, they all do sooner or later. My valves was leaking also,80% on one side and 40% on the other. He been having it for two weeks, i cant wait to get it back and go see if it makes a difference.

They have two holes that feed the oil filter that is pressurized, and the bolt holes are to far away.

I got the same issue with my GTR right now. Im worried about having a briggs lawnmower place do the repairs just bc I don't know how hard it will be to get the clutch off, since they arent familiar with that part. anyone know if this should be an issue? also, put IM heads, with rockers, and pushrods, wondering if my warranty might be void anyway bc of this.
