Over sized pistons, shaved port polish heads, cam, obsiouslu evt intake and carb with busted as MM exhaust

Should last a couple weeks.

I couldn't tell you I ran it yesterday for the first time and it ran real good. Didn't have a gps to see what it was doing

How much over are the pistons? How much are the heads shaved? What cam?

.020 over Briggs pistons, .050 heads and a bps cam which I might change out for a cam with some more bottom end to it

I honestly wasn't even worried bout it once I started running I knew it was running good

What was wrong with it before? What was different about your mods?

I had gps in ma hand most of the time so I could fine tune the trim to best speeds with all the weight I had lol

The cam bushing in the block went out and got egg shaped. The difference between this one and the other is heads are port and polished and .020 pistons but the rest is the same

No I wasn't able to get it replaced well I actually did see if it was possible to get it done. So I had to get a new block and cam for it. I don't mind the questions I like talkin motor. 7 years at caterpillar dads a outboard mechanic and both grandpas were diesel mechanics so I enjoy engine talk

I didn't think you could replace any of those bearings or bushings or whatever in the block.

Why did you put the .020 over pistons in? I take it you found a used block?

No you can't replace them. Sucks that you can't cause i would have 2 blocks getting replaced right now.
Yeah I can across a block that was ready to put together that was .020 over so me I'm wanted to give it a shot figured I wasn't putting flat tops it in and was going with stock pistons it wouldnt be as bad as running flat tops

The .020 overs don't change anything by enough to worry about. I have them in my motor with heads decked 55 IIRC. Compression is right at 200, runs good. I been real happy with it.

I didn't think it would change anything much cause you take into place your opening up the cylinder so you dropping a slight bit of compression. I actually was thinking about bumping my heads up to .060 with the little bit of bore but I left it cause with .060 stock rockers start to get close to running out of threads for adjustments and I was shown some rockers that were wore slap out with only 100 hrs on them you probably can guess what make
