Re: Quiet shotgun, 7 foot barrel extension! I didn't read the link, but I know that for a period of time they were using sub sonic loads and were very quiet. I've never fired one. Don't they screw in like a choke tube?

They screw in like choke tubes. Have 60+ ports on the underside. Some seem to use subsonic rounds, but others maybe the ports and length result in subsonic. Either way, being subsonic is why they are quiet.
