Non Resident LA Waterfowl license
Yes, all you need as a nonresident to duck hunt an individual day or two is that $29/day license. Get one for each day you plan to hunt. That takes care of your basic hunting and duck stamp. Your federal stamp and HIP number are good anywhere you go. Make sure you have them.
If you plan on hunting a WMA, you need the WMA permit.
If you were born in LA, you can get the non resident Louisiana native licenses. This is what I use. You just need a certified birth certificate or card. 5 day basic hunting and 5 day duck stamp total up at $20.50. I basically have to buy one for every weekend I hunt. Season basic hunt and duck stamp are $175 combined. I don't think I will get 9 weekends of hunting in LA, this year....if I get more, GREAT!
