Re: Bow frogging We had a particuler place where they were real skittish and would lay on the surface in open water (not on hydrilla) No way to get close enough for a gig, really too far for a fish arrow so... light weight bow slinging aluminum arrows 2.5" longer, field point, rubber stopper, closed cell foam, and a home made barb. If you miss, the arrow floats back up. If you hit, the frog stays on the arrow.
