 35 Vanguard on a mudbuddy
Quick question, maybe someone can help me with. What is the ideal idle rmp on this engine with no load on it????

the engine needs to idle at 4200????? It hits that wide open.

I think its somewhere around 1000-1200. 4200 should be out of water, wide open throttle.

Well if ya aint hittin 4200 at idle you better start using 93 octane. As low as it will go while still running smoothly, there all going to idle different.

well, i hit 4220 wide open without a load, it is idling at 1540. I thought that was to high, i am running 93 octane and new spark plugs. I might tinker with it a bit and see if i can find a sweet spot. Thanks for the help.
