the engine needs to idle at 4200????? It hits that wide open.

I think its somewhere around 1000-1200. 4200 should be out of water, wide open throttle.

Well if ya aint hittin 4200 at idle you better start using 93 octane. :roll:

As low as it will go while still running smoothly, there all going to idle different.

well, i hit 4220 wide open without a load, it is idling at 1540. I thought that was to high, i am running 93 octane and new spark plugs. I might tinker with it a bit and see if i can find a sweet spot. Thanks for the help.
